Is Legacies a "legacy style" game?
Legacies is not a legacy style game where you permanently alter components for each future play of the game. We chose the name “Legacies” because it best describes what you’re seeking to accomplish in each game - building a strong legacy that lasts over centuries.
With that said, if demand exists - we DO have a vision for a legacy style version of Legacies in the future (that’s right… Legacies Legacy!)

How does the "group pledge" option work?
If you want to order multiple copies for yourself or go in with friends to reduce shipping costs, we have a group pledge available.
The person in charge of the pledge should pledge for either the standard or deluxe version of the game and then INCREASE their pledge amount for each additional game of that type. (For example, if 4 people get together to buy 4 deluxe copies, one member of the group should have a Deluxe pledge and update their pledge amount to $381 which is $99 + $94 + $94 + $94.)
Then - any other members of the group pledge that are able should back at the $1 level. This allows us to have direct communication with all backers not only during the campaign, but afterwards as well so the person in charge of the group pledge doesn’t have to funnel information and updates to everyone. It also gives us a more accurate count of backers and helps with the social goals.

Will there be a pledge option for retailers?
Yes. There is a Retailer pledge level of $100. This is a deposit for brick & mortar retail store orders. Proof will be required.
After you pledge, we will contact you through Kickstarter with further information.

Will the rulebook be available in languages other than English?
We have received enough interest and lined up individuals to translate the rulebook into the following languages: German Italian French
The translated versions will be made available online for download a bit before games are shipped to all backers.
If you are interested in a translated version of the rulebook for a language not listed above, please send us a message with the language you’re looking for. That will help us continue to gauge demand and investigate appropriate translation opportunities.

Will there be any more videos?
Rahdo, Never Bored Gaming, Dice Tower, Man vs Meeple, and Heavy Cardboard have all put together great videos in a variety of styles to give you an idea of what to expect from Legacies.
Any additional videos will come closer to the time when games will be shipped to you. If you have a favorite content provider that you’d like to see do a video on Legacies, please let us know!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
